Thailand is well on its way to achieving its next record year in tourism. Thanks to a clear airline focus strategy, the long-haul market is growing and is increasingly attracting quality tourists. The country is currently experiencing a notable increase in flight capacity from Europe by over 16% compared to last year, which is five percent above 2019 levels. The Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT) is aiming for a new record of 20268.8 million arrivals from Europewhat the total number of long-distance tourists is11.6 millionwould increase, according to Nation Thailand.
In the first few months of 2025, Thailand has experienced strong growth in long-haul arrivals internationally.
