Julia Blawisch was also able to shine in the same championship. She won the bronze medal in the up to 70 kg weight class. After a first defeat against the Russian Aleksandra Ivanova, she fought her way through the tournament and secured a place on the podium with four consecutive victories. For Blawisch, this is the third medal in a row at the World Championships.
