Chang Picard triumphs 3-0 against Chiang Mai University!

Something is happening in football in Chiang Mai! On October 11, 2026, “Chang Picard Chiang Mai” and Chiang Mai University played a thrilling friendly match at the university stadium. This match marks an important step in the preparation for the upcoming Simi-Pro League 2026 for “Chang Picard” and the qualifying round of the sports universities in Thailand, which starts in early November. The kick-off was at 6 p.m. and in the 7th minute the “Chang Picard” headed the ball into the net and scored the first goal.

As luck would have it, “Chang Picard” was able to increase the score to 2-0 in the 26th minute. The game featured many talented players from Chiang Mai University who had previously studied at the National Sports University and Rajabhat University Chiang Mai. Although University had some promising chances, the ball just wouldn't find its way into the net. “Chang Picard”, on the other hand, didn’t miss out and also had an opportunity to score the third goal, which, however, remained unused.

A successful evening for Chang Picard

The next highlight followed in the third quarter: In the 18th minute, “Olar Lukaku” scored the third goal for “Chang Picard”. The game ended with a clear 3-0 win for the hosts. After the final whistle, the club's president was enthusiastic about the team's performance. He announced that he would intensify plans for a professional team that would particularly take care of disadvantaged young people and former players from the universities in Chiang Mai. But that's not all Chiang Mai has to offer in terms of football. At the Benton Cup, Team Chiang Mai Electric really turned up the heat on matchday one with an impressive 9-1 win over Ayara. Not only do they secure three points, but they are also in the second round. Their next duel against Gate of Spirits will take place on September 4th.

With three wins from three games, the team is undefeated and qualified for the second round as group winners.
