The anticipation of a sporting highlight in the region is increasing: the Thai U18 netball team is in the midst of intensive preparations for the 14th ASEAN Schools Games, which will take place from November 19 to 29, 2025 in Bandar Seri Begawan, Brunei. Last November 4, 2025, a delegation from the Ministry of Sports visited the team's training session at Nontree Wittaya School in Bangkok. Among the visitors were Ms. Chatchaporn Pitaksethiakool, a sports science expert, and Mr. Phromphorn Pojananont, the director of international sports affairs.

On the same day as the training inspection, Deputy Prime Minister Thammanat Prompao and Dr. Kong Sak Yodmani, President of the National Sports Authority, presented the progress of renovation work at the aquatics center in Thailand. This project is expected to be completed in time for the 33rd Southeast Asian Games.
