PROUD launches luxury project: Exclusive residences in Phuket for 15 million THB!
On October 7, 2025, Proud Real Estate Public Company Limited (SET: PROUD) shows a pleasing increase in its share price, climbing 5.88% to THB 1.08 per share. Despite the global uncertainties, the company recorded a trading volume of THB 1.49 million. The forecasts are clear: “We will achieve a new record performance this year,” said Executive Director Mr. Pasu Liptapanlop. Transmission revenues in the second half of 2025 also have the potential to exceed those of the first half. This is due to ongoing ownership transfers at the Nue District R9 and VEHHA Hua Hin projects, which together represent an impressive total value of THB 8.9 billion.
With the current order backlog of 7.7 billion THB, PROUD has big plans. By the end of 2025, this is expected to fluctuate between THB 8 and 9 billion. So there is enough potential for sales to increase by around THB 4 billion in the remaining year, which would significantly exceed the THB 3.77 billion already achieved in the first half of the year.
New developments and projects
A highlight in PROUD’s pipeline is the launch of “The Residences at InterContinental Phuket Resort”. The prestige project, which will be invested with over THB 2.5 billion (approximately USD 77 million), is the company's second branded residences project under the InterContinental brand. 111 exclusive residential units are planned on the impressive 3.5 rai area in Kamala Beach, near the InterContinental Phuket Resort. They range from one-bedroom apartments with 58 square meters to luxurious five-bedroom penthouses with 425 square meters.
Prices for these units start from 15 million THB and can go up to 130 million THB. Each unit comes fully furnished with high quality furniture. In addition, the project will rely on sustainable elements, including solar panels and an effective waste and water management system. The planned global Fitwel certification also aims to promote the well-being of residents.
Construction will start in November 2025, with expected completion in the third quarter of 2027. A VVIP launch event at the renowned Jim Thompson House has already been announced for October 18th.
Market development in Thailand
The branded residential property market is experiencing an unprecedented boom in Thailand. In 2024, the country leads Asia with a market share of 23.3% and market values are approaching a whopping $266 billion. Branded residences, particularly in Phuket and Bangkok, show an annual growth of 11%. Phuket itself is the leading destination with 4,771 units across 26 projects.
Competition in the market is becoming more intense, with increasing interest from abroad. According to experts, this will lead to price and quality competition that will have a lasting impact on the industry.
In the midst of all these developments, PROUD remains a creative pioneer and shows that it has a good hand for first-class real estate projects that not only delight the market, but also appeal to future generations. The focus on sustainable development and luxurious lifestyles will certainly continue to shape the image of Phuket in the coming years.
