Thailand delights travelers with Amazing Passport Privileges 2025!

On November 7, 2025, the Thailand Authority will launch an exciting initiative designed to revamp the country's tourist landscape. The new campaign titled “Amazing Thailand Passport Privileges 2025” aims to not only attract international travelers but also provide them with a unique experience. The event recently kicked off at Suvarnabhumi Airport, where international visitors were warmly welcomed. Minister of Tourism and Sports, Mr. Artthakorn Sirilatthayakorn, and TAT Governor, Ms. Thapanee Kiatphaibool, launched the event, which features an impressive “Amazing Bag” filled with authentic Thai souvenirs.

The campaign runs until December 15, 2025 and can be found at Suvarnabhumi, Don Mueang and Phuket international airports. Over 2,500 travelers have already taken advantage of these options. Travelers from China, India, Russia, France and the United Kingdom who use the campaign's service are particularly popular.

Amazing bag and other highlights

The “Amazing Bag” contains a range of souvenirs inspired by the “5 Must Do in Thailand” experiences. These include delicious dried Thai mango, Muay Thai keychains, and handwoven dinosaur and ethnic tassel keychains. But that's not all! Travelers have the opportunity to receive additional tourism vouchers by scanning a QR code. The highlight: The campaign's “Lucky Bags” offer prizes worth over 1,000,000 baht, which were realized through partnerships with various TAT companies.

The campaign is part of a broader strategy under the slogan “Big Impact, Act Fast” to boost the tourism sector during peak seasons. Over 300 leading tourism companies in Thailand are offering discounts and special offers to help visitors enjoy the festive season in Thailand.

A look at Thai tourism

Thailand has achieved impressive tourism development and established itself as one of the leading travel destinations in the world. In 2024, the tourism sector recorded revenues of over 172 billion baht. Bangkok, the capital, remains the main destination for many travelers thanks to its vibrant atmosphere, cultural attractions and diverse shopping opportunities. In addition to Bangkok, Chiang Mai, Phuket and Pattaya are also popular destinations for tourists. However, despite the positive development, there are challenges: Thailand has received a low rating for safety and environmental friendliness in recent years, which should be a top priority in the coming years.

In summary, the “Amazing Thailand Passport Privileges 2025” campaign aims not only to increase visitor satisfaction but also to celebrate culture, leisure and sports in Thailand. In this way, Thailand could further consolidate its status as a preferred travel destination in Southeast Asia.
