Incidents of concern and local responses

The Israeli ambassador to Thailand recently met with the governor of Surat Thani province to discuss the problems caused by the behavior of some Israeli nationals. This was not well received by residents and local businesses in Surat Thani, who launched a petition to draw attention to "Israeli activities that cause discomfort to local communities."
