A 32-year-old domestic worker, known as Ms Suparat, was arrested by police in Surat Thani after stealing valuables worth over 1.2 million baht from her employer. Ms. Suparat said during her arrest that she needed the expensive items to pay off illegal debts. A package that was supposed to send the stolen valuables to Bangkok was intercepted in time. During the search, police were able to seize two Rolex watches worth about 700,000 baht, as well as handbags worth 300,000 baht and gold and diamond jewelry worth a total of 200,000 baht. It turns out that the suspect had not only stolen these valuables, but had also committed several thefts from the same villa in the past, a total of six similar incidents.

The owner of the villa, Ms. Mananya, expressed gratitude for the police's quick action and the successful repatriation of her stolen belongings.
