Shock for ONE Championship: Haggerty is out injured, Anane fights!
An unexpected setback for British fighter Jonathan Haggerty: the talented athlete was forced to withdraw from his upcoming fight at the ONE Championship on November 16 in Tokyo due to a shoulder injury. This is reported by the Bangkok Post. Haggerty, who was preparing to fight for the ONE Bantamweight Muay Thai title, was injured at the Lamai Muaythai Gym in Koh Samui. An MRI confirmed a partial rupture of the inferior portion of his right subscapularis muscle, accompanied by significant swelling.

His withdrawal represents a significant loss for the already crowded ONE 173 card, which boasts seven world championship fights. Haggerty will now undergo extensive rehabilitation to return healthy.
A change of opponents
The spot vacated by Haggerty's withdrawal will now be taken by Nabil Anane, who was originally scheduled to compete against Haggerty.
