On November 18, 2025, Pattaya is facing a very special event: This Pattaya International Fireworks Festival 2025 will take place on November 28th and 29th, and it promises to be an unforgettable experience for locals and tourists. With the theme “The Light of Eternal Loyalty,” the festival will not only feature spectacular fireworks displays over the Gulf of Thailand, but will also serve as a memorial to the late Queen Sirikit, the Queen Mother.
The festival will be designed as a large open-air amphitheater where visitors can admire the colorful fireworks displays. Mayor Poramet Ngampichet has assured that the event will not be canceled or postponed. As part of the official mourning period, the format of the festival will be “appropriate, peaceful and simple”. A special performance entitled “The Light of Eternal Royalty” will kick off the opening ceremony, followed by a one-minute silence in memory of Queen Sirikit.

Preparations are already in full swing to honor the mourning of the late Queen Mother with respect and elegance. Highlights include cultural performances such as the traditional Khon masked dance drama. The show is accompanied by an orchestra playing royal compositions and presenting images of Queen Sirikit and King Bhumibol Adulyadej. Visitors are invited to attend the celebrations in respectful traditional Thai clothing with muted colors and black ribbon.
