Thailand enchants: New Amazing Bags” for lucky travelers in 2025!
On November 7, 2025, the Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT) launched the exciting “Amazing Thailand Passport Privileges 2025” campaign. This initiative, themed “Privilege Beyond Expectation,” aims to increase travel costs and increase satisfaction among international visitors. The campaign runs until mid-December and is a real magnet for tourists, particularly from China, India and the UK, who are interested in the new offers.
A particular highlight of the campaign is the introduction of the “Amazing Bag” activity at major international airports. This run from November 1st to December 15th has already attracted over 2,500 participants. The Amazing Bag contains hand-picked Thai souvenirs that reflect local culture and art, such as Muay Thai keychains and traditional crafts. To further enrich the tourist experience, visitors can scan a QR code. Not only do they receive additional tourism vouchers, but they also take part in various competitions.
Exclusive offers and discounts
The campaign offers international visitors not only souvenirs, but also exclusive discounts and privileges at over 300 different businesses in Thailand. Hotels, restaurants and tourism service providers are part of the promotion aimed at boosting travel costs during peak season and strengthening Thailand's position as a leading tourist destination. Special distribution areas at airports have also been set up for the Airports of Thailand (AOT) corporation to distribute the “Amazing Bags” at major international transport hubs such as Suvarnabhumi, Don Mueang and Phuket.
The campaign covers five key experiences: from Thailand's delicious cuisine to the exciting world of Muay Thai, local fashion trends and unique cultural performances. The TAT has set itself the goal of offering an unforgettable experience that inspires visitors and remains in their memory for a long time.
Thailand travel costs and budget
But how much will a trip to Thailand cost in 2025? On average, travelers pay between 1,700 and 2,000 euros for a two-week stay for two. Flight prices start at around 400 euros per person, and overnight stays also vary greatly: from hostels that start at 30 euros per week to luxurious 5-star hotels that start at 99.50 euros per week. Food prices are also unbeatable, with street food starting at €1 and Thai massages starting at €7.50 per hour.
If your travel account is important, you should take advantage of the off-season: In the months of April to June, overnight stays can be up to 25 percent cheaper. If you book cleverly, you can get the best prices - especially in the quiet off-season, when prices for flights and accommodation also drop significantly.
The TAT expects the “Amazing Thailand Passport Privileges 2025” to not only increase tourist flows but also generate estimated revenue of at least 400 million baht for the Thai tourism sector. Preparations are already underway because Thailand wants to present its best side with the upcoming 33rd SEA Games in December.
