Thailand's winter flight schedule 2025: Over 250 airlines are taking off!

A new boost for air traffic to Thailand is coming! How Travel and Tour World reported, United Airlines, Air France and Thai AirAsia Demand for travel to the beautiful kingdom is increasing rapidly, which is reflected in the increasing number of international flights.

What is particularly exciting is that United Airlines will be offering daily direct flights from Los Angeles via Hong Kong to Bangkok from the end of October. Air France is also setting off: from November 27th there will be daily connections from Paris to Phuket. Thai AirAsia X will also fly to Riyadh and Almaty from December 1st. In Thailand itself, Suvarnabhumi Airport will offer a safe haven for travelers with 127 airlines, including 21 cargo companies.

Growing tourism and new opportunities

In the first eight months of 2025, Thailand recorded, according to Portail Asia, 21.88 million arrivals. Even if this corresponds to a decrease of around 7% compared to 2024, new trends are emerging. China remains the main market with around 3.10 million visitors, followed by Malaysia, India and other nations. Thailand is therefore increasingly aiming to attract high-priced tourists from Europe, the Middle East and India.

Although tourist budgets have decreased, the hotel industry is trying to increase bookings. There is currently more competition in established centers such as Bangkok and Phuket, while the northern provinces, particularly Chiang Mai, are becoming more popular. Travelers should fill out the Online Thai Digital Arrival Card before their trip and check local health regulations to ensure a smooth stay.

A look into the future of tourism

If we take a look at the tourist numbers so far, Road Genius found that Thailand welcomed 32.4 million international tourists in 2024. This is an impressive development after the massive declines during the COVID-19 pandemic. In 2025, arrivals are expected to rise to between 36 and 40 million, generating revenue of around 2.3 trillion baht.

The best time to travel to Thailand is known to be from November to early April, when the weather is pleasantly warm and dry. December is the busiest month with a record-breaking 3.63 million visitors. Thailand not only attracts with its beautiful beaches and rich culture, but also offers affordable travel options for everyone.

In light of these developments, both travelers and local businesses are well advised to book early and stay up to date on local customs to ensure a pleasant stay in the Kingdom of Thailand.
