On November 15th and 16th, 2025 the time has come: TEDxChiang Mai opens its doors at UNISERV at Chiang Mai University. The event entitled “Actions for our Future” will take place from 8 a.m. and offers a platform for creative minds to present and network innovative ideas.
With 15 key speakers and 10 short speakers, each giving five-minute lectures, visitors can look forward to a diverse program. The focus is on issues such as climate justice, sustainability, technological innovation and social transformation, which will affect not only Chiang Mai, but also Thailand and beyond. One goal: inspiration for everyone
The event is not only part of the global TED Countdown initiative, but also a TED Countdown Anchor Event in conjunction with COP30 in Belém, Brazil. Solutions to accelerate action against the climate crisis will be discussed here. TED highlights that the event serves to raise questions about improving future living conditions.
But that's not all: In addition to the inspiring lectures, there will be a varied supporting program. Performances, interactive games, exhibitions, workshops and a communal lunch are planned, giving guests the opportunity to make contacts and exchange ideas. Tickets and participation
For those interested, tickets are available for 1,500 baht, while students can participate for just 690 baht. These awards make it possible to open up access to this important event to as many people as possible and to create a broader community for exchange on important topics.
