On October 31, 2025 the time had finally come: FC Augsburg and Buriram United F.C. have successfully completed their first exchange on Thai soil. Coach Philipp Franke and his colleague Leon-Maurice Bock traveled to Thailand with Simon Kaltenbach, the FCA's U16 and U17 manager, to work together on this project. The trip included three training camps in Bangkok and Buriram, attended by around 60 children aged 6 to 14.
The organization of the camps by the Buriram Soccer School was particularly impressive, not only teaching the young talents technical skills, but also giving them insights into FC Augsburg's training philosophy. The training sessions took place in the renowned Chang Arena stadium, which is located in the heart of Buriram and has a capacity of 32,600 spectators.
