The Royal Hua Hin Golf Course, the oldest golf course in Thailand, will soon be the venue for an exciting international event. The SINGHA Thailand Junior World Golf Championships will be held here from October 30 to November 2, 2025, which will feature a 15-member team from the National Golf Association of the Philippines (NGAP) and the Junior Golf Foundation of the Philippines (JGFP). Tribune reports that the team management consists of Shinichi Suzuki, Vito Sarines, Precious Zaragosa and Lisa Sarines, while the players include Nicole Ang, Chloe Ang and Geoffrey Tan include.
The tournament will welcome young talent from around the world and includes four age divisions: Class A (15-18 years old), Class B (13-14 years old), Class C (11-12 years old) and Class D (10 years old and under). The participants compete in individual and team competitions, with each national team consisting of two players per gender. The best players and teams across different classes will be rewarded with prizes including daily medals and overall victory for outstanding performance in multiple categories. Amateur sport par excellence
Hua Hin also hosts the Centara World Masters Golf Championship, an amateur golf tournament that attracts golfers from 30 nations. This year around 400 players are expected to compete in 15 different divisions in one week. As the site ThailandWorldMasters reports, participants will play four rounds at renowned golf courses in the region, including the Black Mountain Golf Club and the Springfield Royal Country Club.
The prizes of this tournament are also an incentive for golf enthusiasts: daily prizes and an overall trophy for completing 72 holes are just some of the highlights of the event.
