Ten years of healthy baking: Nature Chiang Mai delights at the Jing Jai market!
In Chiang Mai, where tastes are as diverse as the people, the Jing Jai Market has become a real hotspot over the years. The market has been known for its weekly events for ten years now and promises a colorful mix of freshly baked delicacies, organic products and handmade works of art. A special eye-catcher is the Nature Chiang Mai stand, run by the talented Alyssa ‘Nun’ Wanichanuntakul, who has captured the hearts of visitors with her creative baked goods. Chiang Mai CityLife reports that Nun's baking career began while studying at Chiang Mai University and she is passionate about healthy, organic products.
Nun's journey began bumpily: her inspiration comes from her grandmother, who ran an organic farm in Chiang Rai. These roots and the subsequent 1.5-year apprenticeship at the prestigious Mandarin Oriental Hotel fueled her desire to work with high-quality ingredients. After further steps, including a position as an assistant teacher at Le Cordon Bleu in Bangkok, she has now perfected her baking skills and has been selling her products at Jing Jai Market for a full decade. Here, their customers attach particular importance to healthy and delicious baked goods, which are also available in various supermarkets in Chiang Mai and Bangkok.
